Andy is a stay-at-home dad and school bus driver in Denmark, WI. Before that he worked as a Food Safety and production specialist for several food processing plants throughout the Midwest. He is a graduate of SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry with a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology with a minor in Environmental Urban Ecology, a Milwaukee Food Leader Program Graduate, a George Washington University Sustainable Food Policy Fellow, and known in Milwaukee as "Orchard Andy" for his work establishing fruit orchards throughout Wisconsin's biggest city. He is interested in working in his new home here in NE Wisconsin to build a resilient and inclusive local food system that we can all rely on for generations to come.
Kim recently retired as a NEW Curative Rehabilitation Worker with the Brown County Community Support Program. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Green Bay with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Planning & Policy degree. She is a Leadership Green Bay Graduate and is interested in building sustainable and equitable food systems that support a resilient and healthy community and environment.
Samantha is a student at the University of Green Bay studying Communications with emphasizes in Social media, Mass media, Organizational Communication and Public Relations. She is going to graduate in Fall of 2023 and wants to continue to learn how to live a sustainable life.
Kongcheng Thao is an Asian American, specifically Hmong.I am a junior at the UW-Green Bay majoring in business management with a minor in sustainability. He love to play volleyball and getting to meet new people, as well as spending time with my family and friends as well.
Brittany comes to us from the wonderful world of high volume retail management and sales and is passionate about learning. She is a firm believer in community and cooperation and building that community with intent. She sees the future through green "solarpunk" lenses and is looking forward to learning and working with everyone. Her educational background is in Psychology and Human Development so she's particularly interested in the social impacts that the movement has.
