Community Orchards
The Community Orchards project is an evolution of our previous Garden Blitz project with an emphasis on permaculture. In the first year, the Community Orchards project oversaw the installation of 5 orchards at Chappell Elementary, Red Smith K-8 School, Edison Middle School, Southwest High School, and Lombardi Middle School.
Currently, there are 10 orchards installed around Brown County, and we are always aiming to install more!
The mission of the New Leaf Community Orchard and the Bountiful Branches project is to empower Green Bay area residents to grow food and be part of a sustainable urban agricultural system.

Family Donations
This year, New Leaf Foods will donate free serviceberry plants to 10 families at each of the following schools: Howe Elementary School, Kennedy Elementary School, Fort Howard Elementary School, and Nicolet Elementary School. These donations are made possible through our collaboration with Green Bay Area Public School District, particularly staff members Amy Fish and Diana Delbecchi. Thank you for your commitment to providing families with these amazing edible perennials!
We wish all of the families who receive serviceberry plants the best of luck in growing and maintaining them! Thank you for contributing to a brighter future for future generations.
