Winter Sowing Ground Cover Workshop

  • NWTC Greenhouse 2600 Larsen Road Green Bay, WI, 54303 United States (map)

Learn about two important steps in starting your garden. The first is seed germination. Many native seeds need to spend time in the cold in order to prosper. The second is ground covering. Many gardens use mulch to protect their soil, but this job can be done by other plants using their low growing leaves as ground cover. If you want in-depth learning on these topics, then this workshop is for you.

If you’re interested in attending this event takes place at the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College greenhouse, which you can find just behind the Green Bay Botanical Gardens near parking lot 5. Be there at February 5th at 4pm.
