Local Foods Mapping Project

The first project of the Food Council of Brown County (formerly NEW Food Forum) was the Local Foods Mapping Project with Extension Brown County, which resulted in the NEW Food Access Map, published in 2019 and updated and expanded by UW-Madison Extension Brown County in 2024.

Food Council of Brown County is a dedicated and engaged group of organizations, institutions, and businesses who want to see a shift in our community to support a resilient, sustainable and equitable local food system.
