Sitting Down with Local Food Leader Valerie Dantoin

One of New Leaf Foods' missions is to encourage connections between consumers and the amazing people who produce amazing, regional foods. Food cooperatives like SLO Farmers Co-op are wonderful ways to support local producers and getting your hands on the bounty locally-grown produce and meats.

In the video below, SLO Farmers Co-op founder Valerie Dantoin shares her story and what motivated her to establish a sustainable farm. Along the way, she also discusses how important it is that we support our local farmers and be more mindful about the food choices we make.
